Our course is exclusively online but the Course Instructor is available to answer questions via email, telephone, or virtually (Zoom or Teams) upon request. You may work at your own pace from anywhere and on almost any device to complete the course. You can register for this course at any time and get started immediately. Once you register, this training course will be available to you for 90 days.

The course contains downloadable material for all 11 required modules and provides access to all legislative and regulatory materials that govern the operations of Florida assisted living communities today. Each module also includes a presentation that summarizes current and key legislative and regulatory issues, to prepare you for the state ALF test, and most modules include video interviews with AL staff and administrators who provide helpful insights into assisted living operation and regulation. To progress to the next unit, students must pass a 10-item quiz with a minimum of 80%. Quizzes can be taken as many times as needed to reach the 80% standard. The quizzes really help to prepare you for passing the state competency test!

This Course Instructor is Dr. Lindsay Peterson, an approved Core Trainer (Provider registration number 1019000093).
